VISCAS has inherited the time-honored tradition of environmental activities at The Furukawa Electric Company and Fujikura, and conducts its daily business based on a policy of "protecting the beautiful global environment, and contributing to the creation of an affluent society".

 VISCAS also promotes concrete and active environmental action in product development and materials utilization, by marketing products such as plastic drums which can be reused and reconditioned, and OC cable employing recycled cross-linked polyethylene. We will continue these efforts to contribute to society in the future.

All VISCAS production bases have been certified according to the ISO14001 environmental standard.
