VISCAS Corporation has come to agreement with Furukawa Electric and Fujikura that Furukawa Electric will take over overseas businesses of underground and submarine cable fields and that Fujikura will take over overseas businesses of overhead transmission line fields. The date of business transfer is scheduled for April 1st.
VISCAS Corporation will continue manufacturing of power cables, distribution cables, overhead conductors and their relative accessories, for both domestic and overseas markets, as well as its sales to domestic power companies, and laying of power cables.

About our company history
VISCAS Corporation is a joint corporation between Furukawa Electric and Fujikura established in September 2001, integrating technical and overseas sales divisions of each underground cable businesses. In January 2005, departments of manufacturing, construction, domestic sales, divisions of distribution cables and overhead transmission lines have joined, which leads to present.
