In manufacturing of extra high voltage cables, VISCAS manufactures and supplys a variety of ultra-high voltage XLPE cables up to 500kV with truly excellent electrical performance, using the Ultra Super Clean Insulation that employs originally developed technology by VISCAS. In addition, in FF cable (Fluid Filled cable) technology, VISCAS has supplied and constructed DC 500kV 3000mm2 submarine FF cables on a global scale that employ high-performance PPP insulation layers; of which technology has been highly appraised by the world. In accessories technology, VISCAS has developed the CSJ (Cold Shrinkable Joint) which is highly advanced for on-site construction, and already received type certification up to the 400kV XLPE cable. In construction technology, a number of achievements, including vertical laying, inclined laying, and laying of extra high voltage XLPE cable at a length up to 2000 meters have been made by VISCAS. Also, VISCAS has been involved in a variety of installation of submarine cables and overseas full turnkey projects, which have received great recognition from power companies worldwide. And for power cable maintenance systems, in addition to supplying a temperature monitoring system (DTS) that employs fiber-optics VISCAS can, develop and supply all kinds of systems that detect deteriorating conditions in XLPE cables. |
